To fellowship, to learn, to truly live.

Jesus echoes the same emblems of bread and wine in His last supper, calling us to remember Him. It is an invitation – an open invite, all are welcome – to truly live, to learn, to fellowship.

What a striking parallel.

Father, it’s amazing that the promise of our Messiah is woven into every portion of Scripture. Thank You for the physical elements of the bread and wine which helps us to realise the hefty cost of our sin and the highest display of love for mankind.

Lord we commit those of whom we love, know and also do not know who are yet to believe Christ to be true and King over all. Please open the eyes of their hearts. Please distinguish the path of wisdom from folly and life from death. For those of us who are struggling in our walk with You, we ask that You’ll pour out Your wisdom upon us Jesus. Keep us sober minded and rejoicing in the abundance of life that is found in knowing You intimately.

Keep us at Your table, in Your presence, forever.
